In December of 2008, we had a tenant who vacated our commercial retail space that left the unit in less than desirable condition. It required a major clean up and demolition of existing components of the shop. OC Restoration was very responsive in accommodating our needs by first assessing the space and provided the best estimate in terms of what was needed to be done as well as having the best cost proposal out of three contractors. They were very organized by documenting the condition with numerous pictures taken before work began. As per our request, OC Restoration provided evidence of adequate insurance liability as well as providing their contractor’s license certificate.

Once we determined the specific work order and commencement date for the work required, the estimated time for starting the clean up as well as completing the project was well within the time estimate provided by OC Restoration.

To Whom It My Concern:

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for OC Restoration and Woodman White. Mr. White is a experienced licensed Class B General Building Contractor that specializes in emergency service water, fire, and mold restoration as well as providing full construction services.

OC Restoration was hired to remove mold from my master bedroom. Mold is not something that the average homeowner can or should handle alone. It is very important to get professional help and not leave this to amateurs. I had damaged wallboard due to a slow leak in a hot water pipe hidden deep within the wall once the leak was located and repaired the clean-up process began. OC Restoration came highly recommended to me and provided exactly the sevice I needed. Their work was done quickly and they were very through as evidence by the clean Post Remediation Inspection Report which indicated that no further corrective work would be required.

I hope I never again need any mold remediation work bout if I do I will not hesitate to use OC Restoration again. I would recommend them to anyone in a similar position.

Recently, I encountered multiple water leaks in my home that led to significant damage to my floors, carpet and walls. Much to my dismay our insurance company claims representative did not get to the root of the problem caused by the second leak and did not give me adequate money to cover all the repairs needed.
Fortunately, I heard about OC Restoration and had them come out to inspect my home thoroughly. OC Restoration was able to find things that either the insurance claims didn’t see.
One incident I experienced was when my claims rep reported water leakage being caused by a plumbing leak. I decided to get some other opinions and had two different plumbers come out to inspect with cameras that were able to go down into drain pipes beneath the foundation of our home. The first plumber reported that I had a crack that affected the drain pipe all the way to the main line in the street. He quoted me a figure of $10-15,000 to repair. The second plumber repeated the same procedure and reported the damage did not affect the pipe all the way to the street and priced it out at $3,000-5,000. Either way my insurance company would not reimburse me for this type of damage that was below the foundation of our home.
I found OC Restoration’s procedure much more precise and honest. First, he had another plumber come out with his camera and made sure he observed what was being seen. When he informed me they saw no cracks in the drain pipe I could hardly believe it. At the same time, I was extremely upset with the fact both plumbing companies would lie to me like this in order to get a lot of money out of someone like me who they thought could be easily taken advantage of. I could have wasted $3,000-$15,000 had I believed the first two plumbers. Thanks to OC Restoration I was able to save this expense.
Secondly, OC Restoration found my mold damage to be much more extensive than what the claims adjuster discovered during the first inspection. This meant a lot more money was needed from my insurance company to cover the repairs such as replacing some drywall and painting all my walls. This came out to be approximately $7,500 more. The claims adjuster and her supervisor both refused to pay this additional amount. However, OC Restoration was able to negotiate with them further and was successful in getting me this additional amount so we could complete all the repairs needed (drywall and paint). I would recommend OC Restoration to anyone who is in need of repairs and remodeling and at the same time need to get the fair amount they need from their insurance money to ensure all repairs are covered. It is very rare these days to find someone like them who is honest, professional, and knowledgeable. His work is excellent and his team is very courteous and can be trusted in your home.

OC Restoration was completely unknown to me at the start of my storm damage incident. I own a rental unit and thought I had just a little water that had intruded into it. When my carpet cleaner said it was much worse, he recommended OC Restoration to diagnose the damage and give me a true picture. A picture is what I got including Infrared pictures taken to reveal the true extent of the water intrusion in two rooms and a garage. As it turned out, the work required was substantial. The owner of OC Restoration, Mr. Woodman “Woody” White worked directly with me and my insurance company. His detailed explanation of all the damage and his bid to repair all of it was both to the satisfaction of myself and my insurance company. All of the negotiation and dealing back and forth between my tenants, my insurance company, my manager and myself were first rate and I couldn’t have asked for a better solution to this problem.
